Welcome to the Bailey Lauerman Experience

The 2017 BLX'ers

After fielding hundreds of applications–a twofold increase from 2016–Bailey Lauerman welcomes six young advertising pros to the 2017 Bailey Lauerman Experience (BLX), an eight-week immersive summer internship at the agency’s Omaha headquarters.

The BLX pairs upperclassmen and recent grads with top mentors in their fields, including account service, project management, digital strategy, design, public relations, social media management, media and copywriting. The class works across the agency’s client roster, providing them greater insight into Bailey Lauerman’s process and an understanding of how to help brands authentically understand and connect with The Everything In Between.

“We call it the Bailey Lauerman Experience because that’s truly what we try to give these students–a chance to gain real, professional experience that helps them build their career,” said Cyndi Wenninghoff, Head of Talent at Bailey Lauerman. “We received twice as many applications compared with our 2016 program, which is a testament to the reputation we’ve built for BLX. Plus, we benefit by developing a high-quality pipeline of talent for the agency.”

This year’s BLX class includes students from top advertising programs, including University of Nebraska-Lincoln, University of Nebraska-Omaha, Creighton University, Texas Tech and BYU.
