New Account Leadership and Connections Talent

Josh Campbell – PR Strategist

Josh has a storied career leading strategic communication and PR in Asia. He’s worked at agencies including BBDO, Ketchum, and McCann, and recently returned home to Lincoln, Nebraska, ready for his next adventure. Josh has experience supporting major brands like Merrill Lynch, Boeing, FedEx, Jaguar Land Rover, Moët & Chandon and Dom Pérignon champagne.

Josh is passionate about fantasy and science fiction, both in film and literature. He also enjoys playing basketball, Dungeons and Dragons, and talking about Marvel comic books with his two young sons. Kids give him an excuse to be nostalgic and relive his own childhood. A fluent Mandarin Chinese speaker, he majored in East Asian languages and civilizations at the University of Chicago. He first went to Asia on scholarship to continue his Chinese studies in Taipei, Taiwan.

 

Matt Wilson

Matt Wilson – Account Director

Matt is a Nebraska native who started his professional career as an account manager at Smith Kroeger/SKAR, where he managed client business in the lottery/gambling, financial, and healthcare sectors. He then spent seven years in a marketing role at the largest privately held bank in the country, First National Bank of Omaha. During his tenure there, he held positions in project management, marketing/media strategy, creative direction, and brand development and implementation.

Matt served on the American Advertising Federation executive board of directors as both president and chairman from 2013–2016. In 2014 he was awarded AAF’s Advertising Rookie of the Year award and, in 2015, AAF’s President of the Year and Club of the Year awards.

Matt spends most of his time enjoying the company of his wife, Bethany, and dog, Addy. He makes it a point to travel outside the country at least once a year, and his hobbies include comic-book collecting, film production, and snowboarding/skateboarding.

 

Jake Debo

Jake Debo – Social Coordinator

A St. Louis native, Jake comes to Bailey Lauerman after working for the last few years with the Sioux City Musketeers hockey team as the director of media, social, and PR supporting events, community relations, and game-day operations. Jake also has experience as a financial representative for Northwestern Mutual. He is a fitness buff, dabbles in graphic design on the side, and is an avid St. Louis Blues fan and pumped about their first Stanley Cup win. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in advertising and PR from Creighton University.
