As reported by AdWeek, Bailey Lauerman has named Greg Andersen as chief executive officer, effective September 6, 2016. Andersen brings more than 25 years of experience from top agencies in New York and Los Angeles, where he worked with brands including Google, Cadillac, Toyota, Westin Hotels, Axe and Mattel. Most recently Andersen served as President of RAPP U.S., an agency he helped transform from a direct and CRM specialist into an award-winning integrated creative company with deep data and technology capabilities.

“Greg knows how to inspire teams to develop the kind of work that brands need to be successful today – work that is emotional, culturally relevant and harnesses the continuous evolution of media and technology,” said Carter Weitz, chairman and chief creative officer for Bailey Lauerman. “He also has a great deal of integrity – something that is demonstrated in what clients and colleagues consistently say about working with him, as well as in his commitment to fostering change that is needed in our industry,” said Weitz.

“I am truly honored to be joining Bailey Lauerman. As a proud Nebraska native I’ve always tracked the agency’s success, so to have the opportunity to help build a world-class agency here in my home state is a unique opportunity for me,” said Andersen. “Being based in the middle of the country, the agency naturally brings a genuine unvarnished view of America that helps clients scale their business by connecting with a wide range of people both in and outside of major American cities.”

Prior to RAPP, Andersen was CEO of BBH U.S., which was named the 4A’s Mid-Sized Agency of the Year multiple times during his tenure, as well as Webby’s Agency of the Year for work with clients like Axe and Google Chrome. Earlier in his career, Andersen also served in account management and strategic planning roles at EURO RSCG, Merkley + Partners and Lowe Worldwide, where he co-founded Lowe+ a strategic consultancy that led multi-agency solutions for clients.

Andersen is a member of the Global Board of Directors of EFFIE Worldwide, an organization based in New York City that champions and works to improve marketing effectiveness.
