Bailey Lauerman has appointed Erica Lee as Director of Media Strategy. Lee joins the agency from UM, the 2016 AdAge Media Agency of the Year and 2016 AdWeek Global Media Agency of the Year, where she led a 10-person digital team as Associate Media Director for the Sony Pictures business. Leveraging her 12 years of experience in the fast-paced movie marketing business, Lee will lead media strategy for the agency’s top consumer brands including Cuties, Phillips 66 and Panda Express.

Lee’s experience boasts multi-platform media campaigns for blockbuster films including The Amazing Spiderman, 21 (and 22) Jump Street, and even Seth Rogen’s international-incident-provoking The Interview. Her work has been recognized with eight national awards, including AdWeek Integrated Media Campaign of the Year for Think Like A Man and an IAB MIXX Award for Chappie and 22 Jump Street.

“The combination of Erica’s experience with top media agencies, leading consumer brands and her Midwestern work ethic is nearly impossible to find,” said Andy Fletcher, Chief Executive Officer at Bailey Lauerman. “We expect her to have an immediate impact on our clients’ business and our agency. It continues to amaze us at how many talented professionals eventually want to make their way home to Nebraska, and look to Bailey Lauerman as the place to continue to grow their career.”

Prior to UM, Erica worked at Starcom and OMD, shaping media strategy and investment for CBS and Disney Pictures.
