Bailey Lauerman and Turnpost Merge to Connect Brands with the Places and Perspectives that Shape America

Two nationally recognized independents combine consumer understanding, integrated marketing, and design expertise across campaigns, digital experiences, and physical spaces.

Independent advertising agency Bailey Lauerman and Turnpost, a full-service brand development and design studio, today announced a merger that expands BL’s integrated offering and its ability to help brands connect with people across the complex American fabric beyond America’s largest cities.

The combination brings Turnpost’s design craft and experience in brand identity, websites, and environmental branding together with BL’s research, strategy, creative, media, PR, social, and analytics capabilities. For clients, this means more ways to carry a brand’s identity and ideas through the campaigns people see, the websites they use, and the spaces they enter.

“Both agencies have built their businesses as independent challengers, competing for national brands from right here in Omaha,” said Greg Andersen, CEO of Bailey Lauerman. “We’ve always punched above our weight. Together, we can compete in another weight class, with more talent and a broader range of capabilities to take on bigger assignments and do more for our clients.”

Bailey Lauerman’s approach centers on understanding the people and communities beyond America’s largest cities, a market it calls “The Everything In-Between”™. The merger adds depth to how the agency can apply that understanding, connecting its advertising and marketing work with Turnpost’s expertise in digital and physical brand experiences.

Turnpost’s work spans websites, digital experiences, and environmental branding. Its website design, development, and ongoing management services will continue at Bailey Lauerman, supported by BL’s broader strategy, media, and analytics capabilities.

Its environmental branding practice translates brand identities into physical spaces through graphics, signage, and other design elements. Projects include Scooter’s Coffee’s supply chain and manufacturing headquarters, Child Saving Institute’s expanded campus, and Omaha Performing Arts’ Tenaska Center for Arts Engagement.

Turnpost clients will gain access to BL’s broader integrated marketing resources, while BL clients will benefit from the additional design talent and expertise. Bailey Lauerman’s experience includes work for AMC Theatres, Bosch, Bryan Health, and WoodmenLife.

“Good design should shape how a brand works, not just how it looks,” said Stuart Lundgren, principal at Turnpost. “Joining BL gives our designers a bigger role in the strategy and campaigns behind our clients’ brands.”

“We want to keep growing with our clients,” added Jeff Reiner, principal at Turnpost. “Together, we can take on larger, more complex assignments while keeping the close client relationships that built Turnpost.”

The agency will remain independent, with Turnpost’s services branded as “Turnpost at Bailey Lauerman” during the transition. Andersen will continue as CEO, and Lundgren and Reiner will serve as co-heads of design. Leaders from both agencies will oversee the integration, supporting employees and maintaining continuity for clients.
