BL Welcomes Kramer McLuckie as Social Media Director.

The social media team has continued to expand and evolve over the past five years. As a result, Bailey Lauerman has hired a new social media director to support the strategic delivery and day-to-day operation of some of BL’s largest client relationships and to assist in management of junior staff across accounts.

Bailey Lauerman’s newest social media director, Kramer McLuckie, is a strategic social and digital communications manager. Kramer has extensive B2B and B2C experience with brands like UnityPoint Health, Amerex Corporation, Fareway Meat & Grocery and the Des Moines Symphony.

Kramer will be supporting both client and agency teams from his remote office in Des Moines, Iowa. He will develop points of view on trending topics in social media and help set the social vision and strategy for brands.

“Kramer has been a leader since day one of joining the BL team,” says Emily Mazurek, head of PR and social. “He has the ability to grasp complex topics and industries and make social audiences care through engaging delivery and innovative ideas. His ability to be both a strategic and creative thinker will play a big role in pushing our client’s social strategies forward and growing our department.”

Kramer will work across Flagstar Bank, Kendall Motor Oil and Phillips 66, and he will support new business efforts. He brings strong experience cultivating, sustaining and engaging his clients’ audiences through strategic content executed across social media, websites, email, newsletters and influencers.

Kramer loves collaborating with graphic designers, media planners, account managers and client contacts to brainstorm and develop integrated content for social and other platforms.

“Agencies in the Midwest are all too often sheepish about their location or try to excuse it, so I love that BL is loud and proud about where we’re from and why it makes a positive difference. The more I learned about the agency, the more impressed I became by the caliber of people working at BL in addition to the quality of the work. Being part of the BL team presented me with a can’t-miss opportunity to join other dedicated practitioners and to learn from remarkably intelligent, creative leaders and peers. That’s certainly held true on the social team, where I continue to be impressed by the amount of strategic thinking and care that goes into our client deliverables.” – Kramer McLuckie
